Ukraine reports 82 clashes at front, tense situation in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff reported this as of 4:00 p.m.

Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line has reached 82.

“The Russian forces continue to use aviation, including dropping guided aerial bombs, and conducting attacks. The Defense Forces hold their positions and take necessary measures to prevent breakthroughs in the defense,” the statement says.

Russia continues to use artillery against territories in regions bordering Russia. Under enemy shelling were areas near the settlements of Oleksandrivka and Popivka in the Sumy region, as well as Yasna Polyana in the Chernihiv 

Frontline situation

Kharkiv direction: Four clashes are ongoing near Vovchansk.

Kupyansk direction: The Russians carried out two assaults near Pishchane and Lozova.

Lyman direction: Russia is attacking near the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Kopanky, Makiivka, Terny, Zelena Dolyna, Zarichne, and Kolodyazi. There have been eight clashes since the morning, four of which are ongoing.

Kramatorsk direction: Defense Forces repelled four enemy attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Predtechyne, and Bila Hora. Two clashes are currently ongoing.

Toretsk direction: The Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near Toretsk, Diliivka, and Shcherbynivka. Two clashes are still ongoing.

Pokrovsk direction: The enemy attacked Ukrainian defenders 37 times near settlements including Vodiane Druhe, Zelene Pole, Yeyizavetivka, Myroliubivka, Sukhyi Yar, Zelene, Kotlyne, Udachne, Nadezhdynka, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, Ulakly, and Yantarne. Ten clashes remain ongoing.

Novopavlivka direction: Ukrainian forces repelled six attacks near Novosilka, Kostiantynopil, Rozdolne, and Velyka Novosilka.

Orikhiv direction: Russia attacked twice near Novodanilivka and carried out an airstrike in the same area.

Prydniprovskyi direction: The Russian enemy unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian positions once.

Huliaipole and Siversk directions: The enemy has conducted no offensive actions since the morning.

In the Kursk direction, eleven combat clashes occurred today, two of which are still ongoing. Additionally, Russia carried out 11 airstrikes, dropped 14 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 156 artillery strikes, including two with MLRS.

• Over the past day, the Defense Forces eliminated at least 1,430 Russian soldiers. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 12 armored vehicles and 16 artillery systems.
