Russian strike on Ukraine’s Kupyansk leaves two dead, damages houses, power lines

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported the information.
According to him, the bodies of two women were retrieved from the rubble of a house in Kupyansk. A 95-year-old and a 72-year-old woman were killed in the Russian attack on January 26. Russian troops launched FAB-500 bombs on Kupyansk at 2:18 p.m. yesterday.
Earlier, Oleh Syniehubov also reported the attack on Kupyansk.
"The Russian occupiers are launching intensive strikes on Kupyansk. The Russian army used guided bombs, damaging at least four private houses and power lines," he stated.
Initially, there was no information about casualties. Specialized services were working on-site to address the aftermath.
Later, Oleh Syniehubov reported that after extinguishing the fire, rescuers found an 86-year-old woman who had suffered an explosive injury and a fracture. The victim was hospitalized.
