Ukraine's Defense Forces, HUR strike Ryazan oil refinery, Russian army fuel supplier
Unmanned Systems Forces with Ukraine's Armed Forces and the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate have struck the Ryazan Oil Refining Company again
This was confirmed by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Explosions and fire were recorded in the target area," the General Staff reported.
The Ryazan Oil Refining Company supplies fuel to the Russian army. It’s one of the four largest refineries in Russia, producing diesel and TS-1 jet fuel.
Recently, Ukraine's missile troops also hit a Russian forward control point (operational group of the Pacific Fleet) near Korenevo in Russia’s Kursk region. The extent of the damage is still being assessed, the General Staff added.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 15 UAVs were shot down overnight.
"Eight UAVs were intercepted over the Ryazan region, six over the Kursk region, and one over the Belgorod region," the ministry stated.
Local Ryazan channels, residents, and Russian media outlets reported another fire near the Ryazan oil refinery.
