Ukraine's power grid resumes normal operation as planned, difficult situation in the south and east 

This was reported by the Ukrenergo state energy company.

Ukrenergo notes that the power deficit in Ukraine's power grid remains at the same level as before the 10th massive Russian missile attack on December 29, which was aimed at the energy sector. 

"Thanks to the professional actions of the Ukrenergo dispatch center, the consequences of the damage had a much smaller impact on the power grid than the enemy expected," the statement said.

The company adds: specialists are restoring the system operation as planned, the power generation capacity is being increased. However, it is noted that the situation remains difficult in southern and eastern Ukraine.

All regions of Ukraine have been informed on consumption limits, excessing which leads to emergency shutdowns", Ukrenergo reported.
