Ukraine receives new military aid package from Germany
Germany has handed over another military aid package to Ukraine, including ammunition for Leopard, 66 armored personnel carriers, and about 100 pieces of special equipment
This is evidenced by the updated list of assistance on the German government's website, Ukraine's Defense Ministry reports.
Over the past week, Germany has provided Ukraine with:
- ammunition for LEOPARD 1;
- 19 8x8 HX81 tractors and 14 semi-trailers (previously: 17);
- 14 THEMIS tracked and remotely operated infantry fighting vehicles (previously: 7);
- 64 Bandvagn 206 tracked all-terrain vehicles (BV206);
- 66 armored personnel carriers.
The German government website also states that Germany supports the Ukrainian military in close coordination with its partners and allies. The list of aid on the government's website is updated on a regular basis and provides an overview of Germany's lethal and non-lethal military support for Ukraine. It includes supplies from the Bundeswehr, as well as supplies from German industry financed by the German Federal Government's funds for so-called security capacity building.
