Ukraine has already received over $55 billion, we develop new aid package – General Milley
Allies will continue to help Ukraine stand up and have proper defense capabilities and will be with Ukraine as long as it takes
This was stated by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley at a press conference following the ‘Ramstein’ meeting of defense ministers, broadcast by Espreso.
"Ukraine has already received more than $55 billion in aid. We have provided it with all possible heavy equipment, ammunition, hundreds of tanks, hundreds of armoured vehicles. 250 soldiers are being trained on NATO's eastern flank, and 65 soldiers have recently completed training on Patriot air defence systems," he said.
Milley added that the allies will continue to help Ukraine to resist and have adequate defenceб capabilities.
"We will provide training for tank crews and for the use of air defence systems. We will provide ammunition for tanks, air defence systems, artillery and missiles, as well as additional resources. We want to confirm that we will be with Ukraine for as long as it takes. We are developing a new aid package as part of our commitment to Ukraine. Our task in Ukraine is first of all to organise assistance to Ukraine, training for their military, and we have formed 9 mechanised brigades. We will continue to provide support to the extent that it is accepted," he summarized.
