Ukraine gets $2.7 billion from the IMF under new support program
Ukraine has received the first tranche of about $2.7 billion from the IMF under a new Extended Fund Facility program

This was announced by the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Andriy Pyshny.
He noted that Ukraine has received 2 billion Special Drawing Rights from the IMF. This is about $2.7 billion.
Pyshny reminded that the decision to immediately disburse the tranche was made on March 31. He also thanked the partners for their quick assistance and noted that Ukraine is already actively working to successfully pass the first review of the program and receive the next tranche from the IMF.
