Today’s reality is Iran chairing UN Human Rights Forum

Only those who have the courage to keep their eyes open will be able to survive the coming times

The modern world gives the illusion of justice. All these dismissals of bad managers following social media scandals, apologies from celebrities who have been caught, criminal cases for bullying, and so on lull you into a parallel reality where everything is fine, where you can always count on protection if the bad guys come after you.

And the real world today is Iran chairing the UN Human Rights Forum. The real world is people who rejoice in a terrorist attack against civilians. The real world is a ban on calling terrorists terrorists.

If Putin is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, I will not be surprised. Because this is the real world. A world in which money and power are stronger than any laws and moral standards. Most likely, Putin has not yet been nominated simply because he has not offered a sufficient price.

People are diligently turning away from the real world. Because they are “in the flow,” “pursuing positivity.” People avoid taking responsibility for their lives. They believe in tarot cards, listen to "psychics," believe in any kind of fiction, as long as they don't think about their real needs. When the problem is already looming on the horizon, no one is adequately prepared to address it. Neither people, nor governments, no one. Because Don't Look Up!

I will just leave a reminder here: if you simply close your eyes to the enemy, he will not disappear, but will destroy you and everything you hold dear. Only those who have the courage to keep their eyes open will be able to survive the coming times.
