The town of Chasiv Yar was probably shelled from artillery, officials note.
"Enemy shells hit a residential area in the center of the town, near the Invincibility Point, where locals usually receive humanitarian aid, charge their phones, etc.", the statement said.
Two women, 73 and 76 years old, who were outside at the time of the Russian shelling, and a 67-year-old employee of the humanitarian headquarters were injured. In addition, a 72-year-old man was hospitalized with multiple shrapnel wounds.
"The explosions of Russian shells provoked a fire in two apartment buildings. In addition, a park and neighboring residential buildings were damaged, with windows and doors smashed, roofs and balconies damaged," the prosecutor's office added.
