"West plans to sacrifice Zelenskyy, Peace Summit fails'': Russian fakes for June 20

According to the National Security and Defence Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on 20 June, Russian media launched one manipulation and disinformation.

Manipulation: The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service released a message: "The West is preparing to sacrifice Zelenskyy when Russia secures success on the battlefield". 

Refutation: The purpose of such messages is to destabilise Ukrainian society and discredit the President of Ukraine, who, despite all the statements of Russian intelligence, is supported by the civilised world. 

Disinformation: The Resident Telegram channel wrote: "The conference in Switzerland was a complete failure".

Refutation: The Peace Summit managed to attract an unprecedented number of participants - 101 countries and international organisations from all continents, which already indicates its success, despite all the statements of Russian propaganda. 

• Earlier, Russian propagandists spread the fake that the Peace Summit had allegedly become a PR platform for Zelenskyy/Yermak.
