Ukraine and Republic of Korea are now allies
North Korea's armed forces are actually involved in Russia's war against Ukraine. Ukraine and South Korea could now become allies in the war
North Korea and South Korea are still technically at war (there is no peace treaty, and South Korea refused to sign the armistice agreement).
In effect, Ukraine and South Korea could now become allies in the war against Russian-North Korean aggressors.
Objectively, questions arise: why haven't we had all the necessary official meetings between Ukraine and South Korea yet, starting with Ukrainian-Korean political consultations (which, it seems, haven't been held since May 2019), the meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Korean Commission on Cooperation in the Defense Industry and Logistics, and ending with urgent meetings between foreign ministers, defense ministers, and the presidents?
It’s clear that everything takes time to prepare, but we haven’t even heard any announcements about these efforts.
The momentum of diplomatic initiatives and corresponding actions in such a war must be maintained!
