This was reported by the Institute of Mass Information, citing a story by the Ukrainian Witness project.
During a visit to the positions of the Spartan Brigade, the Ukrainian Witness team came under fire – Russian troops dropped a grenade from a drone onto the vehicle carrying journalists and soldiers.
As a result of the attack, Marharyta Potapova suffered hearing damage, while press officer Oleksandr Davydenko was injured by shrapnel. In the video, his hand can be seen covered in blood.
The journalist also noted that after the attack, the car remained functional and drove off, while those inside scattered and hid. As a result, Russian troops did not launch another attack.
- At the end of December, 189 Ukrainian defenders were returned from Russian captivity, including former Espreso journalist Roman Borshch.
