Trump's team knows losing Ukraine means China wins war – politician Rybachuk

He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"Trump has his own team that understands the U.S. must strengthen the democratic bloc, particularly through cooperation with the EU. Trump's entire team is united by the perception of China as the biggest threat, and they closely link the potential development of the scenario in Ukraine to China's actions, which is their main adversary," Rybachuk remarked.

According to him, Trump's team is well aware that losing Ukraine now would mean giving China the opportunity to win this war.

"For us [Ukraine - ed.], this is important because we understand that for Trump, the number one problem is not Greenland or Panama but China. And when Trump's entire team understands that China and Russia are close allies acting as a united front, Americans say: if we want to stop this united monster, we must do everything to ensure Ukraine wins this war. Therefore, we have a certain level of optimism," Rybachuk emphasized.

• Ukrainian MP and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement Activities Oleksandra Ustinova noted that Trump would seek ways and options to end the war in Ukraine.
