Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported the information.

The meeting was chaired by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. It was attended by the foreign ministers of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, Croatia, and Montenegro.

The ministers discussed key issues of strengthening regional cooperation, supporting Ukraine in countering Russian aggression, and jointly advancing on the path of European integration.

As a result of the meeting, the diplomats adopted a joint communiqué emphasizing unconditional support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and defense capabilities, the need to restore a just and lasting peace, and the principle of "nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine."

The document also calls on the international community to cease support for Russia, condemns attempts to annex Ukrainian territories, reaffirms mutual assistance among candidate states in the process of European integration, and underscores the importance of security guarantees for Ukraine, including its future NATO membership.

"All of us, the states striving for European Union membership, are not competitors but like-minded partners seeking to contribute to strengthening Europe's security and stability through EU expansion," Andrii Sybiha noted.

Earlier, the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported the Tanja Fajon's arrival in Ukraine on the social media platform X.

The ministry stated that Tanja Fajon arrived at the invitation of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

During her visit, she will participate in the ministerial meeting of Ukraine – Southeast Europe. Together with her colleagues, they will discuss further support for Ukraine, the country's reconstruction, and ways to achieve peace.

  • On January 16, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met in Kyiv with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp, to discuss key areas of future cooperation between the countries.
