Russian air defense troops ordered to evacuate families from Crimea - partisans
Russian command urges air defense servicemen to evacuate families from Crimea, coinciding with moving air defense systems to Belgorod
The Atesh guerrilla movement reports.
“The Atesh agent, a member of the air defense unit, deployed in the village of Osovyny in Crimea, reports receiving a "recommendation" from commanders to start evacuating their families to the cities of the Southern Military District,” the article says.
The guerrillas note that this order coincides with the relocation of Russian air defense systems from Crimea to the Belgorod region. It is emphasized that such actions jeopardize security on the peninsula.
Atesh also adds that at the same time, Russia is creating new mobile air defense groups to fight drones, using the Soviet ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft system.
“This indicates a strategic reorientation and preparation for new challenges in defense, while the main focus is shifted from Crimea,” the partisan movement emphasizes.
- The Russian Ministry of Defense says that on the night of June 7, Russian air defense forces destroyed 28 UAVs over three regions, as well as over occupied Crimea and the Sea of Azov. Russian media reported that two radars in Crimea were damaged.
