Russia fires over 180 missiles, drones at Kyiv in three months
Since the start of 2024, Russian forces have launched over 180 attacks on Kyiv, employing hypersonic, cruise, ballistic missiles, and drones

Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, reported this.
Popko stated that between January 1 and April 1, 2024, the following attacks occurred in the Ukrainian capital:
- 5 hypersonic missiles, 3M22 Zirkon
- 11 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles
- 6 Iskander-M ballistic missiles
- 3 Kh-69 cruise missiles
- 1 Kalibr cruise missile
- 113 Kh-101 cruise missiles
- 48 Shahed attack drones
Popko commended the air defense forces for their efforts in protecting the capital, emphasizing the potential devastation if these attacks had succeeded.
He urged international partners to provide Ukraine with additional air defense equipment.
- On March 25, Russian terrorists launched a missile assault on Kyiv, with two ballistic missiles intercepted by Ukrainian air defense forces.
