Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, informed about this.
According to him, at least five explosions were heard in the occupied city.
"Hits. At least two between Nevsky and the agricultural base in the direction of Manhush. Apparently, air defense systems 'shot down everything.' Given the nature of the attack, first the air defense bases were exposed, and then the air defense systems were 'accepting the gifts,'" Andriushchenko wrote.
The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol also reports possible hits or falling debris in the area of Bilosaraysk spit and Melekine in the Mariupol district.
According to Andriushchenko, the city lost part of its electricity supply after the attack.
"The central district - Novoselivka - is completely blacked out," he added.

On July 12, explosions were also heard in occupied Mariupol. According to preliminary data, it may have been near the airport.
