Russian forces fear Ukrainian army's 'striking fist' in Crimea, build up defensive positions
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukrainian partisans record a steady increase in the number of Russian defensive positions along the coast
The Atesh military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars reports.
"While the occupation authorities are convincing the population that there is no threat of an amphibious operation by the Ukrainian army, the number of defensive deficiencies along the coastline is growing every day," the guerrillas say.
According to them, in Yevpatoria and Yalta, the Russian army engages civilian contractors to equip firing and defensive positions, "which look very caricatured."
Atesh notes that there are rumors among Russian military personnel that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are forming a so-called shock fist for an autumn breakthrough towards Crimea and cutting the land corridor in the Kherson direction.
