Russia suffers heaviest losses in Donetsk region — Commander Tarnavskyi

He mentioned that approximately 80% of the losses incurred by the Russian army are concentrated in the Donetsk region.

At the same time, the occupiers continue ground attacks and actively engage aviation. In total, Russia carried out 17 air strikes, engaged in 37 combat clashes and fired 649 artillery shells in the Tavria operational area over the last day.

Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding the line in the Avdiivka direction. Total Russian losses amounted to 514 people. Another 1 Russian soldier surrendered.

In addition, 7 units of Russian military equipment were destroyed, including 3 tanks, 2 armored personnel carriers, a drone and a car. Another 7 units of equipment were damaged.

At the same time, an offensive operation is underway in the Melitopol direction.

• According to the General Staff, a total of 63 combat clashes took place on the frontline over the past day. Ukrainian defenders repelled a number of attacks in key areas and eliminated another 750 Russian soldiers.
