Russia loses artillery system, 7 tanks and 750 soldiers in one day of war in Ukraine — General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to November 27, 2023, amounted to:

• personnel - about 325,580 (+750 per day)
• tanks - 5,520 (+7)
• armored fighting vehicles - 10,282 (+3)
• artillery systems - 7,875 (+1)
• MLRS - 907
• air defense systems - 597
• aircraft - 323 
• helicopters - 324 
• UAV operational-tactical level - 5,905 (+4)
• cruise missiles - 1,565
• ships/boats - 22

Frontline update: Russian troops try to encircle Avdiivka, Ukrainian Armed Forces hold the line and repel attacks

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shared the information in its morning report.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly.

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Synkivka, Kharkiv region, and Novoselivske, Luhansk region, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 7 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched an assault near Serebryanka forests, Luhansk region, and were unsuccessful.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 10 attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka and east of Pivnichne, Donetsk region. The Ukrainian defense forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on Russian troops, and consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops, with the support of aviation, keep trying to surround Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. Russia’s offensive actions east of Novobakhmutivka, south of Novokalynove, Sieverne, Stepove, Avdiivka and Pervomayske, Donetsk region, were unsuccessful. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 30 attacks there.

In the Marinka direction, Russian troops, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Marinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 7 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops did not conduct assault operations.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful assault operations west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Melitopol direction, The Ukrainian Defence Forces are conducting an offensive operation, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the invading forces, consolidating their positions and exhausting Russian troops.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, continue to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on the enemy's rear.

Russian troops launch a missile attack on Ukraine: Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 5 concentrations of Russian personnel

In total, Russia launched 1 missile and 34 air strikes, and 51 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks resulted in civilian casualties. Private homes and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Russian troops launched air strikes on 12 settlements across Sumy and Donetsk regions.

Over 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions came under Russian artillery fire.

Also, over the past day, Ukrainian aviation conducted 3 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment.

Ukrainian missile troops hit 2 concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as an ammunition depot.

• The Ukrainian General Staff reported that the Russian invaders conducted the most attacks in the Avdiivka direction in the last day, totaling 24. Ukrainian soldiers are holding the line and inflicting losses on the enemy.
