Russia cannot win wars with threats

The Russian authorities have driven their people into a virtual trap. And this trap lies in two basic fears

There is a great temptation to explain this by saying they are idiots. But before giving such definitions, we need to understand one of the critical aspects of their thinking. Their thinking is exclusively archaic (mythological), where one of the critical points is the miracle expectation and the survival fear. In the formula "if you can do something (take a risk) and make a profit, or do nothing and everything will remain as it is," archaic thinking suggests not to take risks.

In primitive societies, this is associated with the fear of hunger and death from violence. Russians have a slightly different fear. It is, as paradoxical as it may sound, virtual. Real threats so far (I emphasize, so far) frighten them less than virtual ones.

The Russian authorities have driven their people into a virtual trap. And this trap lies in two primary fears. At the highest level, the Russians are afraid of the Russian collapse. This is the dominant, albeit entirely fictional, fear of losing greatness. At a lower level, he is afraid of the power

The Russian authorities have driven their people into a virtual trap. And this trap lies in two primary fears. At the highest level, the Russians are afraid of the Russian collapse. This is the dominant, albeit entirely fictional, fear of losing greatness. At a lower level, they are afraid of power. But they cannot protest against it. Protest, in the head of a Russian, is equal to the country's collapse (another color revolution brought by the West). Fear dominance of the country's collapse by a protest against the government, which leads the country into the abyss and makes the Russians a ram that goes to the slaughter.

Is there a gap at the end of this tunnel? Of course, there is. It is in an archaic system of thinking. And it's called a refrigerator. Simply put, sanctions. Plus, of course, defeats at the front. It only works with each other solely because pride in a Russian is only the army. I emphasize only the army. If you lose the root cause for pride, you lose one of the meanings of your existence. Together with the lack of a picture of the future (now a Russian does not have a picture of the future at all) and an empty refrigerator, you get an utterly depressive set, which will result in aggression against the authorities.

The Russian always appeals to the West and always tries to prove something to him (a classic trauma of a difficult childhood). And the only thing he can do is talk about threats. But from a certain point on, even the most reptilian Russian understands that they don't win wars with threats

Here we must understand one crucial thing. In his internal monologue, Russian always appeals to the West and always tries to prove something to him (a classic trauma of a difficult childhood. And the only thing he can do is threaten. But from a certain point on, even the most reptilian Russians understand that they cannot win wars with threats.

They live in the illusion of having a "Plan B." That's why they experienced mobilization and Kherson. But the illusion will last up to 3-4 months. Then they will begin to understand that there is no "Plan B". There is only a road to slaughter.

Of course, life will make its adjustments. The main threat is Putin, who lives by the formula: "do not give up; time is working for him." So he turned the tide in Venezuela and Syria. And he believes that he can do this in Ukraine as well. To stop this story, no matter how strange it may sound, in addition to the army, only domestic sociology can. Unfortunately, in the west, only some people understand this.
