The Polish government has voiced plans to install an electric fence along the border with Russia's Kaliningrad region

Interia informs about this with reference to the Polish Border Service.

"The creation of an electric barrier on the border with the Kaliningrad region and the Bug River will begin this year", the spokeswoman of the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Border Service, Lieutenant Anna Mikhalska, said.

She also reminded that the country has completed the construction of a fence on the 202-kilometer section of the Polish-Belarusian border. Supports for surveillance cameras were installed there. In the future, they plan to carry out work on conducting electricity to connect sensors and motion sensors.
