North Korea to supply Russia with 150 KN-23 missiles, artillery systems in 2025 — Ukrainian intel
North Korea is likely to supply Russia with 150 short-range KN-23 ballistic missiles and artillery systems in 2025
Chief of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, reported this in an interview with the War Zone.
Budanov stated that in 2024, North Korea delivered 148 short-range ballistic missiles KN-23 to Russia, which Russia uses to attack Ukraine from its Kursk and Bryansk regions. This year, North Korea plans to send Moscow 150 more such missiles.
Additionally, over the past three months, North Korea has supplied Russia with approximately 120 M1989 Koksan 170mm self-propelled artillery systems and 120 M-1991 240mm multiple rocket launchers. According to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Pyongyang is likely to send Russia at least the same amount of this equipment in the future.
Budanov also stated that he does not know exactly how many new North Korean troops might arrive in Russia or when. However, he noted, "We do not expect to see many new ground combat units."
- North Korea can send reinforcements to the Kursk region for Russia's war against Ukraine within the next two months, according to a Pentagon representative.
