Photographers release impressive pictures of Azovstal defender Orest, following his release from captivity
Konstantin and Vlada Liberov have shared new photos of the Azov regiment press officer Dmytro (Orest) Kozatskyi, who told the world about the hell that was the defense of Mariupol with his photos from Azovstal.
New photos of Konstantin and Vlada Liberova were shown on Instagram.
Orest's pictures became a symbol of the indomitability of the Ukrainian nation.
"If you ask us today who took the main photo of this war, our answer will be him, Orest. But he doesn't seem to realize it. Moreover, it was Orest, without knowing it, who became the person who did not let Vlada and I stop documenting war," the photographers noted.
In the comment to the photo, they said that they talked with the hero released from captivity, and announced an interview.
"And today you can just look into Orest's eyes. They have seen a lot," the Liberovs wrote.
On May 20, 2022, photos of wounded soldiers from "Azovstal" circulated around the world. At that time, the heroes had already been under siege by Russian troops for three months. The author of the photos is the press officer of the "Azov" regiment Dmytro Kozatskyi (call sign Orest). Together with his brothers, he defended Mariupol.
