The head of the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Political Analysis, Andriy Kovalenko, reported.

According to him, there are two military airfields in the attacked area, one of which uses civilian infrastructure converted for military use. S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems have also been spotted in the area.

In addition, the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation, which coordinates military operations in southern Ukraine, is located within the city, Kovalenko said. He noted that earlier ammunition depots and technical facilities related to the logistics of the Russian army were spotted on the territory of the Selmash plant.

According to the head of the Rostov region, Yuri Slusar, as of 6:30 a.m., windows and window frames were damaged in 14 apartment buildings. There were no injuries or casualties.

The Russian Defense Ministry says that over the past night, Russian air defense allegedly destroyed 36 drones: 18 UAVs were shot down over the territory of Rostov region; 11 UAVs were intercepted over the territory of Volgograd region; five were destroyed over the territory of Belgorod region and two over Krasnodar region.

  • On the night of February 6, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Primorsko-Akhtarsk airfield in Russia’s Krasnodar region, from which the invading army launches drones against Ukraine.
