123 combat clashes reported on Feb. 7: Ukrainian forces stopped 30 attacks in Pokrovsk direction

Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported. 

“Yesterday, the Russian aggressor carried out 106 air strikes on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, dropping 169 guided bombs and using 2,170 'kamikaze' drones. In addition, it carried out more than 5,300 attacks, 127 of which were from multiple rocket launchers,” the General Staff noted.

They added that over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 20 areas of Russian troops and equipment concentration, air defense facilities and the Russian artillery system.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian troops defeated a Russian attack near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, ten Russian attacks took place yesterday. The Ukrainian defense forces defeated the assault near Zahryzove and Lozova.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian invaders attacked 13 times. They tried to advance near Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Novoliubivka and Yampolivka.

In the Siversk direction, the Russians attacked the Ukrainian positions 13 times in the vicinity of Bilohorivka and Verkhnekamianske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three firefights were registered in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar and Predtechine.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russian troops carried out 10 attacks in the area of Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 30 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Zelenyi Pole, Tarasivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Andriivka and Dachne.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the occupants attacked the Ukrainian troops' positions nine times, trying to break through in the direction of Kostiantynopil.

In the operational zone in the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces fought off 28 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the Russian troops launched 61 air strikes using 89 guided bombs, and fired 404 artillery shells at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities, 20 of which were from multiple rocket launchers.

In the Huliaipole, Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi directions, the Russian forces did not conduct any assault operations yesterday.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian army is actively using artillery, aircraft, and attack drones in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.

• On February 7, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,210 Russian troops, as well as 22 armored combat vehicles and 35 artillery systems.
