Over 40 training centers established across 33 countries to train Ukrainian soldiers - US General Milley
Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley has said at the Ramstein 13 press conference that international efforts are now aimed at training 60,000 Ukrainian soldiers during the current operations
He made the statement during the press conference, broadcast on Espreso TV.
Milley stated that the US was providing and would continue to provide assistance to Ukraine in defending its sovereignty. He emphasized that upholding the rule of law was a unifying factor, leading them to provide advanced equipment and training to Ukrainian soldiers.
He mentioned that over 40 training centers had been established, involving 33 countries on three continents, since the start of the full-scale invasion. Milley highlighted that the US had trained a significant number of Ukrainian soldiers throughout the war, with 5,000 military operators currently engaged in training Ukraine's defenders.
He further stated that three tank battalions and two territorial national brigades were currently undergoing training. He concluded by mentioning their international efforts focused on supporting 60,000 Ukrainian soldiers during the ongoing operations.
The general expressed hope that results would soon be noticeable.
