The occupants reactivate their offensive actions south of Izyum city. On the left bank of the Seversky Donets there were isolated islands of Ukraine’s army defence. The ring around Severodonetsk is shrinking. The enemies have chosen a new target, but their forces are very exhausted.

Offensive advancement of Russian troops: a map of hostilities

In three days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed more than 360 servicemen, 23 tanks, 28 armoured vehicles, 29 artillery systems and 1 air defence system, 2 planes and helicopters and 4 cruise missiles, 18 UAVs, as well as 76 special vehicles and fuel tank carriers. In addition, Ukrainian aircraft destroyed 4 enemy depots. It is difficult to calculate the exact losses of the occupants.

Severodonetsk and Lysychansk

The situation in Severodonetsk changes hourly. The city centre passes from hand to hand, the combat is very dynamic. On June 4, Ukraine’s Armed Forces recaptured the city centre, and the next day the Russians again pushed our troops South to the industrial zone. Towards the end of June 6, Ukraine’s Defence Forces pushed the enemy back again and took a large part of the city under control. The number of shellings in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk has increased tenfold. The cities are razed to the ground.

Slovyansk and Svyatohirsk

The Russians stepped the pressure up to push all Ukrainian troops out from Siversky Donets’ left bank and advance towards Slovyansk from the northeast of Lyman and northwest along the Izyum route.

From the Lyman side, the invaders are still clearing the forests in the vicinity of Lyman and Raigorodka, as well as conducting artillery preparations for the offensive in the Raihorodok and Slovyansk directions.

From Ishmael's side the enemy managed to enter the Dovhenke village, where the defence lasted for almost 2 months. However, they could not move too far. Their intentions to cut the Barvinkove-Slovyansk route are obvious. Now they are moving towards Dibrivny.

Around Svyatohirsk the enemy's ring narrowed to several kilometres. The city and monasteries are constantly shelled with artillery, some monasteries have already been destroyed. On the left bank there are centres of resistance near the Sosnove, Shchurove, Dibrova and Ozerne villages. Active battles are taking place in the Staryi Karavan and Brusivka villages. As they stormed these forest fortresses, the occupants lost a large amount of manpower and equipment, and the pace of their advancement slowed down significantly.

A rocket attack was launched on Druzhkivka, one street was completely destroyed. Tochka-U missile system also struck Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka and Lysychansk.

Bakhmut and Donetsk region

Russian General Roman Kutuzov, who tried to storm Komyshuvakha once again, together with the Donetsk Republic army, was killed in the Popasna region. The rest of the occupants are trying to wedge between Vrubivka and Berestov and storm Mykolayivka from Nyrkov's side. All attacks in this direction are repulsed.

The occupants hit Bakhmut with a Tochka-U missile system. In addition, on June 5 and 6, the Russians fired on the centre of Donetsk, positioning it as Ukraine’s Armed Forces’ shellings. However, since they fired from Makeyevka, many locals understand from whom the missiles are arriving.

The occupants’ aircraft fired missiles at Avdiivka, Kurakhovo and Marinka villages.

Ukraine’s Armed Forces destroyed an enemy ammunition depot near Makeyevka, and shot down a Ka-52 helicopter.

On the southern front

The Russians withdrew from the Blahodatne village, which is located 20 km from Kherson. Also, a significant part of their forces from Vasylivka near Zaporizhia and Melitopol moved to the Kherson region, where their forces could not stand the counteroffensive of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. This demonstrates that the enemy is catastrophically short of resources not only for the offence but also for defence.

In the area of the breakthrough near David's ford, the occupants gathered a lot of forces to recapture the strategically important village, and they are currently fighting for it. Ukraine’s Armed Forces counterattacked with aircraft and destroyed 3 rear ammunition depots and equipment collection centres, as well as a concentration of manpower near Ivanivka, Soldatsky and Davidov fords.

In the north of the Kherson region, the Defence Forces entered Zolota Balka.

Four Russian missiles were shot down by Ukraine’s Armed Forces over Mykolayiv and Odesa regions. In response, the Russians struck massive blows on Mykolayiv for two days in a row and destroyed Ukraine's second-largest grain terminal.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian spies reported that in three weeks, "partisans" killed more than 100 Russains around Melitopol. In Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine’s Armed Forces destroyed another warehouse with Russian ammunition. The enemy is trying to storm Hulyaypole and the vicinity of the Orikhov village.

Kyiv, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna

On the morning of June 5, Russian X-101 cruise missiles struck Kyiv's railway infrastructure, including the Darnytsia Train Repair Plant, presumably in an attempt to disrupt supplies of Western military equipment to Ukrainian units on the front line.

On the morning of June 6, the Tyotkino village in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation was shelled again. Strikes were inflicted on the bridge and local businesses.

On June 6, for the first time in a few weeks, the border Chernihiv and Sumy settlements’ regions were not under massive attack fire from the aggressor's country side.

The maps are based on information received from the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, as well as other open and verified sources. At the same time, the maps are not precisely accurate and only conditionally reflect the trends in the combat zone.
