Is Russia abandoning China?

We have taken the position of the offended, that is the worst approach in politics because politicians do not take offense

Russia has invited all American companies to return to the energy sector and is also opening access to Arctic deposits—this is the main topic of today's negotiations. And this could be the very 'big deal.'

Quoting the Russian outlet *The Moscow Times*: 'Russia believes that American oil companies may return to the country and is also interested in joint projects with the U.S. in the Arctic,' said Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, ahead of negotiations in Saudi Arabia.

In plain terms, this is a betrayal of China.

What do we have left?

We are playing a game with the U.S. with not the strongest cards. This needs to be assessed realistically.

Europe is already divided and will not be unified. Pay attention (especially) to Duda's position on not fighting with Trump.

I'll repeat once again what I've been saying for the past few weeks: Trump gave Europe an ultimatum. And the meeting in France showed: the Europeans will swallow it (agree to export technology in exchange for protection).

We need to enter negotiations with realistic demands, not continue the mantra about NATO.

The Russian statement is a very bad move for us. We have now taken the position of the offended party. And this is the worst in politics because politicians don’t get offended.
