59 battles take place along frontline: Russian troops most active in Pokrovsk, Kursk sectors

This is reported in the General Staff's summary.

Throughout the day, the Russian forces carried out artillery shelling on the areas of Popivka, Ponomarenky, Fotovyzh in Sumy region, Krasnyi Khutir in Chernihiv region, and also Tymofiivka, Lemishchyna in Kharkiv region.

Additionally, the Russian troops carried out airstrikes on the areas of Hremiach in Chernihiv region and Klynovo-Novoselivka in Kharkiv region.

Situation in the main frontline sectors:

- Kharkiv direction: The Russions attempted to advance on Defense Forces positions near Vovchansk and Zapadne three times, with one battle still ongoing.

- Kupiansk direction: The Russian troops conducted two attacks near Zahryzove, and battles are ongoing.

- Lyman direction: Ukrainian forces repelled an attack near Yampolivka.

- Siversk direction: Russia unsuccessfully attacked twice near Bilohorivka.

- Kramatorsk direction: The Russians attempted to advance twice near Chasiv Yar and Vasyukivka, with one battle still ongoing.

- Toretsk direction: The invaders attacked five times near Toretsk. Defense forces repelled one attack, and the battles continue.

Pokrovsk direction: 14 battles of varying intensity occurred near the settlements of Promin, Pokrovsk, Serhiyivka, Nadiivka, Bohdanivka, Sribne, Andriivka, and Ulakly. One attack is still ongoing.

Novopavlivka direction: Russia attacked 10 times near the settlements of Kostyantynopil, Rozdolne, Novocheretuvate, and Pryvillya. Eight battles are ongoing.

Huliaipole direction: The Russian forces attacked three times near Novopillia and Novosilka, with one battle still ongoing.

Orikhiv direction: The invaders attempted to advance three times near the positions of Ukrainian forces in the areas of Novoandriivka and Stepove. Two battles are still ongoing.

Russia's Kursk region: Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks by the invaders. A total of 14 battles have been recorded. The Russians launched eight airstrikes, dropping 10 guided bombs on settlements and Defense Forces positions, and carried out 201 artillery shellings, including two from multiple rocket launchers.

"The Ukrainian forces are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of engagement and in the rear," added the General Staff.

• Military expert, reserve colonel in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and former spokesperson for the General Staff, Vladyslav Selezniov, noted that the situation at the front remains unstable, especially in the areas of Toretsk and Chasiv Yar.
