Kremlin names key point of "peace plan" that Russia demands to end war with Ukraine
The spokesman for the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov says Russia will agree to consider a "peace plan" to end the war against Ukraine if it takes into account Moscow's interests
Russian media reported the information.
"Any ideas that take into account Russia's interests, Russia's concerns, of course, deserve attention, they should and must be listened to, and Russia is ready to do so. For us, ensuring our own interests is of utmost importance," Peskov said.
At the same time, Vladimir Putin's spokesman says he is not familiar with French President Emmanuel Macron's "peace plan" that he intends to promote with the help of China.
"There have been some reports that the French side voiced some elements during their visit to China, but so far they have not manifested themselves anywhere, these elements. We are not aware of the existence of any French plan, and, accordingly, we have not received anything from the French side," Peskov said.
He also commented on the "peace initiatives" of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
"As for the initiative of the Brazilian side, it is too early to provide any assessments, because we need to have more information and know the nuances. Now our foreign minister has the opportunity to get these nuances," Peskov said.
