Iran will not quickly provide as many missiles as Russia requests – military expert Grant
Part of missiles from Iran for Russian army may arrive only in spring, which is why President Vladimir Putin is slowing down hostilities
Colonel Glen Grant, British military expert, said it live on air of "West Studio with Antin Borkovskyi" program on Espreso TV channel.
"What I heard from the trip to Ayatollah was that Russia did not get answers it was hoping for, that in fact Iran is not going to provide as many missiles and as quickly as Russia requested, and that some of the missiles may actually arrive as late as in spring", he believes.
According to Grant, this is another good reason why Putin is delaying the war.
"To postpone it to winter. He mistakenly believes that if he continues to attack infrastructure and cities, then this will change the attitude of Ukrainian people, which only proves, as it has been since the first days of war, that he does not understand Ukrainian psychology or culture, people who are not going to give up. In fact, the more destruction he will do, the harder it will be for him to win the war", the expert concluded.
