Germany updates list of aid provided to Ukraine

The official website of the ministry shared the information.

Official Berlin has released details of a new military aid package to Ukraine, which has already been handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among other things, Ukrainian defenders received engineering equipment, anti-drone systems, machine guns, and other equipment.

In particular, the list includes:

• 70 MG3 for LEOPARD 2, MARDER and DACHS;

• Spare parts for LEOPARD 2 and MARDER;

• 30 drone detection systems;

• 3 armoured engineer vehicles DACHS.

Since January 1, 2022, Germany's military assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces has reached more than EUR 2.7 billion.

• On March 16, Germany provided another military aid package to Ukraine, which included 155 mm artillery shells and missiles for the MARS II MLRS.

• US President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed their readiness to continue the sanctions policy against Russia.
