This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine did not receive any orders to hold Kursk until Trump's inauguration in order to “exchange it later”. This information, which is being disseminated in the media, is not true. In the Kursk region, the Defense Forces are performing specific combat missions that are directly related to the overall picture of the front. And the situation on several other fronts, including the number of Russian troops on them, depends on these tasks,” Kovalenko said.
He added that such orders cannot be issued in the army in principle.
- Amid the offensive of the Defense Forces into the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, the number of enemy shelling of the border areas of Sumy region has increased.
