All promised Challenger 2 tanks arrive in Ukraine – British Defense Minister

This was announced by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace in a speech to the House of Commons on May 11.

According to him, the Ukrainian military underwent training and exercises on the tanks both in the UK and at home.

The Challenger 2 is the third generation main battle tank of the British Army, which is in service with the armies of the United Kingdom and Oman, and now Ukraine. The crew consists of four people. The tank has a range of 550 km (340 miles) and can reach a maximum road speed of 59 km/h. It is also equipped with a 120mm L30A1 55-calibre tank gun.
