On Wednesday, June 29, Germany reported on another batch of military aid to Ukraine, including the TRML-4D aerial surveillance radar station
This follows from information on the website of the German government.
Ukraine received several new military equipment from Germany. These include three Biber bridge-laying machines, a mobile demining system, two border guard vehicles, and 16 Zetros heavy trucks.
One notable addition is the TRML-4D aerial surveillance radar, which Ukraine received in May for the first time. This radar uses advanced AESA technology to detect, track, and classify different types of airborne targets. It focuses on small, fast, low-flying, and maneuvering cruise missiles, aircraft, and hovering helicopters.
The TRML-4D system can quickly detect and track approximately 1,500 targets within a range of up to 250 kilometers.
