72% of German arms exports destined for Ukraine in first quarter of 2024
In the first quarter of 2024, German exports of military goods destined for Ukraine amounted to €3.54 billion

Interestingly, in the first half of 2023, Germany's exports of military goods totaled €5.22 billion.
In terms of support for Ukraine, in the first year of the full-scale war, the supply of weapons worth €2.24 billion was approved for the country, including air defense systems and heavy artillery.
"In 2023, they were supplemented by Leopard 2 main battle tanks, which the German government provided after much hesitation. The volume of export licenses for Ukraine increased to €4.4 billion. In the first three months of 2024, exports have already reached €3.54 billion," the statement says.
The next largest recipient country after Ukraine was Singapore (€583.9 million). It was followed by India (€143.3 million), Saudi Arabia (€126.4 million), and Qatar (€97 million).
