Chancellor Scholz pledges support for Ukraine in New Year's address

In a pre-recorded speech for television, Scholz assured that Germany would not leave Ukraine without help and would continue its support “like no other in Europe.”
He emphasized that many Germans are watching the events in Ukraine with concern.
"I assure you that we will not leave Ukraine alone and will support it like no other in Europe," Scholz promised.
In addition, the Chancellor emphasized that the German government will continue to act with composure to avoid further spread of the war.
