A conflict is brewing between Kadyrov and Prigozhin - Ukraine’s officer Ihor Lapin

He expressed this opinion on the air of the Verdict with Serhii Rudenko program on Espreso TV. 

“Russia is a prison of nations that needs a boss. When Putin leaves power, Russians will need another, more powerful boss. The one who will beat and feed from the hand. Now there is a conflict between the military, who fought in Chechnya, and the Kadyrovites, who are currently in power in Chechnya. We can heat up this conflict to a certain extent. Now there is already a competition between them because the military is responsible for the Kherson direction, and Kadyrov and Prigozhin are responsible for the Bakhmut direction. Putin will respect more the one who shows more results,” Lapin said. 

According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer, there is another Putin’s system in Russia - it is the structure of the FSB, which rules today.

“Prigozhin is not the kind of horse that the Russian oligarchs will bet on. Because today the oligarchs are on Putin’s gravy train. The FSB should not give the reins to Prigozhin or Kadyrov. They understand that then the Kadyrovites will rule Moscow. A partisan movement is already brewing in Chechnya. Soon we will see the conflict between Kadyrov and Prigozhin. It would be good if they killed each other faster,” Lapin emphasized.
