I wish new 1991 would come sooner
What President Biden said at the end of the NATO summit can be compared to Winston Churchillʼs speech in Fulton, which marked the beginning of the Cold War
The UKRAINE COMPACT treaty signed in Washington has now been formalized into law. Biden's reiterated insistence on restricting Ukraine from fully deploying long-range weapons also aligns with the paradigm of achieving a bloodless victory, particularly from the Western perspective.
An imperative has been declared: Putin's supporters must be halted and denounced. Over two dozen nations worldwide have already joined this effort, and the coalition is expanding and will continue to grow. Ukraine stands among them, at the forefront.
Biden in 2024 isn't Churchill of 1948, but the comparison isn't about individuals - it's about human civilization's path. Churchill, a WWII hero, was stepping back from politics at that time. His legacy was carried forward by successors, navigating through crises like the Cuban Missile Crisis, and persevering through various geopolitical shifts to eventually triumph over the "Evil Empire" in less than half a century.
Therefore, it is no longer fundamentally important what Trump says now; he is part of this process, regardless of his words or actions. I only hope that the new 1991 comes sooner.
