Russia alleges Ukraine launched a large-scale drone attack targeting municipalities in the Krasnodar Territory, specifically focusing on the districts of Temryuksky, Yeysk, and Sevesky.
A video depicting the fire in Yeysk city is circulating on social media. The area is known to host a military airfield.
Meanwhile, AvScanNZ, an OSINT analyst, reported that a fire erupted at the 726th Air Defense Training Center, suspected to be caused by drone activity during the night. The OSINT analyst noted that NASA satellites detected at least three separate fires in the vicinity.
Overall, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that it successfully thwarted a large-scale drone assault overnight. Reportedly, 70 drones were intercepted over Crimea and the Black Sea, 43 over Krasnodar Krai, and one over Volgograd Oblast.
