Trump's ex-advisor Bolton: Concessions to Putin will devastate both Ukraine and U.S.

The diplomat made these remarks to CNN.
"He [Trump] has no idea how he's going to negotiate an end to this war, except I think that his affinity for Vladimir Putin will lead to concessions to the Russian side that are going to be devastating for Ukraine," Bolton said.
He called Trump's plans to establish peace in Ukraine "nuts" and emphasized that the US is aiding Kyiv in the war against Russia "not out of the goodness of their hearts."
"We have been assisting Ukraine because it's in the American national security interest to defend against an unprovoked aggression on the continent of Europe and get peace and stability there that benefits the US in innumerable ways," Bolton added.
- Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson believes Trump could help Ukraine stop the further advance of Russian troops. However, this wouldn't involve returning to the 1991 borders but restoring the demarcation line as of February 24, 2022. Consequently, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea would remain under Russian control.
