Ukraine outlines starting points for Ukraine-Russia ceasefire

The Ukrainian President's Office reported this.

“The ceasefire must begin with the exchange of prisoners and the return of children. This would be a step to demonstrate Russia’s genuine intent for peace,” the statement reads.

The President’s Office noted that the foundation of a potential ceasefire should be strong security guarantees for Ukraine. The possibility of involving NATO mechanisms as one of the security guarantees and strengthening the Ukrainian army is also being considered.

As stated in the post, the development of a concrete plan to end the war will continue based on proposals from France and the United Kingdom.
