Win back more than territory: TIME’s new cover highlights Zelenskyy's plan to defeat Putin
The TIME devoted its new cover to Volodymyr Zelenskyy's plan to defeat not only Putin but also Russian propaganda machine in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine
This information was shared on the magazine's Twitter.
“Inside Zelensky's plan is to beat Putin's propaganda in Russian-occupied Ukraine,” description of the issue reads.
Additionally, the magazine features an article dedicated to the spread of Russian propaganda in the temporarily occupied territories since 2014. The publication cites one of Zelenskyy's quotes from previous interviews regarding the informational situation in the temporarily occupied regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea.
“People in the Donbas, they’ve been brainwashed. All they have, every single day, is the Russian information space. Nothing else exists there. So there is no hope the people there see Russia as the real occupier,” the president is quoted as saying.
Next, the publication recalls an incident when Russia Today propagandist Anton Krasovsky called for "drowning Ukrainian children" for speaking out against the Russian occupation of their homeland.
"Their society accepts it, consumes it. They live in this paradigm," Zelenskyy commented at the time.

On October 23, the Russian propagandist from Russia Today, Anton Krasovsky, called for "drowning Ukrainian children" live on air. He said, "They (Ukrainian children) should have been drowned in the Tisza River. Right there, where the ducks swim. Drown these children, drown them right in the Tisza River." Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called for banning the channel's activities worldwide. Later, Krasovsky publicly apologized, but despite this, he was dismissed from the channel.
