We must defeat Stalin's successors to avoid tragedies of Holodomor – Latvian FM

"Today we honour memory of millions of Ukrainians killed by Stalin’s regime during Holodomor. 90 years later Russia again has launched full-scale genocide against Ukrainians. To avoid such tragedies in future, we must defeat Stalin’s successors now", Latvian foreign minister said.

Previously, the upper house of the Irish parliament recognized Holodomor as a genocide of Ukrainian people. Similar decision was adopted by the members of the Romanian parliament.

German MPs have agreed to pass an important resolution on Holodomor next week.
