Ukraine reports 101 clashes at front on Feb. 6, repels 36 Russian attacks in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m. on February 7.

"According to updated information, yesterday Russian forces launched three missile strikes and 84 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, used four missiles, dropped 138 guided bombs, and deployed 2,829 'kamikaze' drones. In addition, the Russians fired over 5,000 times, including 94 times from multiple launch rocket systems," the General Staff reported.

They also added that yesterday the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 14 Russian manpower and weapons concentration areas, as well as a Russian artillery gun.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one attack near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, five Russian attacks took place over the past day. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks near Lozova, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman sector, the Russians launched 20 attacks, attempting to advance near Zelenyi Hai, Kopanky, Novoserhiyivka, Hrekivka, Nove, Zelena Dolyna, Novolyubivka, Katerynivka, Yampilivka, Terny, and Kolodiazi.

In the Siversk sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian defense positions twice near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, three combat engagements were recorded near Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops launched 13 attacks in the Diliivka and Toretsk areas.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 Russian attacks near Zelene Pole, Vodyane Druhe, Novotoretske, Pokrovsk, Pishchane, Udachne, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyarivka, Uspenivka, Dachne, Andriyivka, and Shevchenko.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled eight attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops near Lysivka, Kostyantynopil, and Rozdolne.

In the Orikhiv, Huliaipole, and Prydniprovskyi sectors, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive actions.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled five Russian attacks over the past day.

"In addition, the Russians launched 47 airstrikes, using 76 guided bombs, and carried out 612 artillery shellings of Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 11 from multiple launch rocket systems," the General Staff added.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

• Invading Russian army lost another 1,340 of its soldiers, along with hundreds of units of equipment and weaponry, on the Russian-Ukrainian front throughout the day.
