Wagner PMC owner Prigozhin admits meddling in US elections
On November 7, Yevgeny Prigozhin, a businessman close to Russian President Putin and the owner of the Wagner PMC, admitted his interference in the US elections
This was reported by the Radio Liberty publication, referring to the press service of the Concord company associated with Prigozhin, which later deleted the message.
“Gentlemen, we intervened, are intervening and will intervene. Carefully, accurately, surgically and in our own way, as we know how. During our spot operations, we will remove both kidneys and the liver at once,” Prigozhin's press service quotes the answer.
The topic of Russian interference in the elections again became relevant before November 8, when the mid-term elections to the US Congress will take place.
US Midterm elections 2022 will decide on all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate. Moreover gubernatorial elections will be held in 36 states.
