Ukraine's MoD refutes Russian fake regarding instructions for Ukrainian media on how to cover events in Bakhmut
Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar denied the fake information about the manuals for journalists, which is being actively spread by Russian propaganda
Hanna Maliar informed this on Telegram.
"The enemy is spreading a ridiculous fake. What is the strength of our public position on Bakhmut?" - I reveal the secrets of our work," the Deputy Minister of Defense wrote.
In particular, in the fake manual, the enemy writes about the main lines of information "coverage":
-
To point out that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters are giving a worthy rebuff to the occupiers' forces. Fierce battles are being fought for every inch of land, and the heroes of the Armed Forces are standing up to the end.
-
Emphasize that the advance of the Russian occupiers' army in the Bakhmut direction is only temporary and is the result of treacherous maneuvers that do not comply with the rules of warfare.
-
Explain that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have a technical advantage over the occupying army and have the most advanced weapons, unlike the Russian forces, who are used as cannon fodder without effective weapons.
-
It should be noted that local residents of Bakhmut and the suburbs support the Ukrainian army and are waiting for a complete liberation from the occupiers.
Also, on behalf of the command of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Russian occupiers forbade:
-
To mention the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Bakhmut direction.
-
Referring to the outdated state of the Armed Forces' weapons.
-
To mention the number of Russian-speaking population.
-
Speak positively about the enemy.
Maliar emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine publicly broadcasts its official position: "There is no need to pass on papers - it is public."
Every day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, and press officers report on the situation at the front, particularly in the city of Bakhmut, in their evening addresses.
-
Russian telegram channels also spread a fake that a Turkish classic clothing store sells Ukrainian Armed Forces uniforms.
