Ukraine’s journalist Alla Pushkarchuk killed in battles with Russia, she had been fighting since 2014

The young woman went to war back in 2014, leaving the world of art, her studies at Karpenko-Karyi University, and her dream career as a theater critic.

According to Krapyvenko, when Pushkarchuk joined the team of the Tyzhden, she grew from a news reporter to a professional cultural observer.

Pushkarchuk also worked for the Chytomo media outlet, where she was responsible for the news feed and coordinated the People from Empty Chairs project.

According to IMI, Alla Pushkarchuk became the 77th in the list of media professionals killed as a result of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Krapyvenko's direct speech: "Alla was from the generation that grew up in the war and greedily made plans for the future. She collected folk jewelry, was keenly interested in cultural life, and posted photos of the cats that were with her everywhere. No one can replace Alla. Neither in peaceful life nor in war. This is an irreplaceable loss in the fullest sense. For me, her words that she was angry with veterans who behaved in the spirit of "I was in the ATO, and who are you?" will become a testament. She did not tolerate arrogance and excessive pathos."
