US antagonizes Putin to force him to spread war to other regions: fake world news

According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on April 26, two manipulations appeared in the world. 

Manipulation: Commenting on the new US aid package for Ukraine, former US Army Lieutenant Colonel Tony Shaffer said: “All they (the US - ed.) are doing is trying to play at Putin's level and trying to antagonize Putin to get him to spread the war to other regions.” 

Refutation: US support is a critical component of Ukraine's defense capabilities. The above statement is intended to distort the facts by portraying the decisive actions of the United States in response to Russian aggression as aggressive and provocative.

Manipulation: Canadian journalist Aaron Maté said in a commentary to American columnist Andrew Napolitano: “The U.S. Congress is waving the flag of a foreign country that they are actively destroying, which is being used for a clear purpose, the Biden Administration is not hiding it, to weaken Russia - not to protect Ukraine, but to weaken Russia. If they cared about protecting Ukraine, they would not have blocked diplomacy at every step - before Russia's invasion and after Russia's invasion.” 

Refutation:With such statements, the speaker tries to portray the terrorist country as a victim. In fact, the only state that openly seeks to destroy Ukraine and rejects a diplomatic solution to the conflict is Russia.
